Thanks for the great response. I asked about varnish over paint because I am going with a pearl black and varnish look on the deck. The yellowing of the varnish shouldn't effect black and it will make it much easier than taping and trying to get the different surfaces level. Thanks again for all the help.

ps- 75.6 km per hour might be close!!
