I did a variety of images on the deck of my boat via the rice paper route, but I used lens cleaning paper. I attached the lens cleanin paper to a sheet of paper for feeding it through the laser printer and then trimmed close to the image. The image is then laminated to the deck under the glass. All look as though they were painted on the wood. I found lots of discussion about this and other issues on the KBBB
