Logo's and Images

What's the best way to get images onto boats during the building process. I've heard of people photocopying onto fibreglass cloth! (seems a bit extreme to me - there has to be an easier way). Does printing on plastic work? What's the effect with rice paper? Anyone got any pictures of their handywork in this area on the web?
