One of the principal advertised benefits of CLC products is that they are ideal for the first-time builder.
Given that, I do not think that you should be quite so apologetic for the problems you experienced with the instructions, regardless of which model it was. They are a critical component of the premium-priced product you bought, and I am sure CLC wants to know if they are not excellently suited to the first-time builder. It is a serious product defect and I am sure they would like to know about it so they can fix it.
