I was thinking of putting a layer og lass under the opt piece of coaming before it is installed. I am using a peice of marine grade Ash plywood, but is still had a few small gaps in it, so I have been a little worried about strength. Wondering what people think of this idea??? Will it actually add anything other than weight??
