Bo,

I don't know that I would worry too much about the shape of the deck changing, assuming you've used fiberglass at some point on the decks. If you're really worried about it you could build an external building form that will keep the deck shaped while you work on the hatch lips (which should help mold the deck to the correct radius) and deck reinforcement. The ring stiffeners will go a long way to helping maintain the deck shape I believe.
