oh yeah,,,sand lightly to remove any fuzzies, apply one thin sealing coat, when it's tack free (not sticky) and there's no fuzzing up of the wood apply another coat. I like to wait a few hours for that coat to get non-sticky too. If fuzzies (raised grain) show up after the first coat sometimes you can flatten them down when the epoxy is "green" but I never had that problem.
