Re: Work Table Size

Hi Lloyd,
While a worktable is nice to have, if you're building from kits it's not absolutely necessary. I'm doing a 16LT and I scarfed the panels on the garage floor and used the sheer clamps to make a self-supporting structure while I was gluing them on.
For my other boats I used a 3/4" 8x4 plywood sheet covered with masonite and polyethylene film. The whole thing sat on sawhorses. It was very useful for cutting the panels from full-size sheets, but I don't really feel the need with the pre-cut kit (another hidden savings to count against the cost of the kit).
