Which Sander?

In "The New Kayaker" we are cautioned to buy an industrial strength sander rather than a lower priced "home use" type.

I have found a price range of $35 to $70 in the stores I have visited.

This DeWalt Heavy-Duty 5 Random Orbit Sander DW421 is priced at $70 on the Internet.

I did see a 6" sander for $150 but it weighed more at 6 pounds.

Three of us are about to begin a team building project with three kayaks. I'm not trying to save money on tools.

Any recommendations?
