Hydrofoils for a MC 16.5?

Dang... that's a good idea. I'm taking two of my kids camping with me in my MC 16.5 in a couple of weeks. Loaded up with kids and gear, that boat gets sorta bargelike in speed and handling. I think hydrofoils could be just the ticket! Gotta get that hull out of the water! There's the issue of getting to planing speed in the first place, I s'pose, but once you're there, the rest is easy. Right? Maybe a little 9.9 horse outboard would help some...
