I am a little concerned about them too. The magnets that I used are the 3mm x 10 mm dia from Woodcraft. There are currently 6 pairs on each hatch and I don't feel that they hold well enough. I did get some warpage on the rims and they will probably grab better when that goes away. The plan is to slit the hatch ribs loose, put some epoxy on them, and mash them into place on the boat with a slight overbend. The overbend will be done by putting something like a match stick under the hatch when I mash them.\
