Agree w/ John

I made a similar backband for my Cormorant, and it the BEST I have used to date; very comfortable even for hours at a time. Wasn't difficult to make, either.

The basic arrangement came from "The Strip-Built Sea Kayak" by Nick Schade, and I added the curve (Nick's is flat).
