I've yet to try this, but sure plan to - loading the kayak to its suggested limit (which in my case probably means an extra pack of gum) and seeing what difference it makes. I've heard that once the starting inertia is overcome, cruising is not much harder. If packed properly, I've heard that stability is improved. I hope so, 'cause rolling's gotta be a bear! I wonder about tracking and turning. "Tracks like a train and turns like a ?????"
Now there are many experienced campers out there who, I hope, will weigh in on this? Please?
