Kurt, I'm glad you are ok. I'm also grateful that you are willing to share your mistakes and lessons with us. I'm thinking of reading parts of your post to my son. He is good about wearing his vest, but we haven't been out in high temperatures yet.

I'll also be better. I always wear mine -- mostly so Michael takes it for granted-- but often unzip it in the front.
