path of least resistance

I'm planning a vacation to North Carolina's outer banks in Mid July and would like to bring my Mill Creek 15 with me. The problem is I'm way behind schedule due to a flu last week and laziness the week before.

So far, I've got the scarfs all glued and the sheers glued to the side panels. I hope to start stitching tonight with some help from my wife. But considering I work full time and have two kids, I think it will be difficult to finish the boat. However, I suspect I'll be able to get the construction phase complete.

Any ideas on how to take a a fully constructed, but not sanded, varnished and painted boat out for a week without ruining the epoxy would be greatly appreciated!!!

Cheers, - Joe
