"torqued" panels

Posted by LeeG on May 29, 2004

I recall that wasn't an uncommon techcall,,,some sheer clamps would develop some twist or bend after being cut off a big plank of cypress (not all planks are flat)and some of those would impart a bend to the glued up 4mm panel. The tension developed in the side panels during the stitching process would usually overcome that bend,,at worse one sheer might be slightly off center.
