Okay, you guys caught me in a big lie. It ain't like I don't hand sand, but it is true that I keep it to a bare minimum. And yeah, power sander ammunition is almost always better than regular sandpaper.

My M.O. is simply put: I follow the path of least resistance to the water. As a result, I am not particularly well known for my superior finish work (on kayaks, anyway). If my boats look like crap, I promise to fix 'em next winter and go paddlin'...
