I've seen this method described here quite a while back and can't remember if it was you. I'm interested in trying this method myself and only have one question. When you're stacking the coaming spacers on the deck and glueing them together, do you have to nail them to the deck and deckbeam to hold them in position before you start the clamping process to conform them to the deck? The easiest way I have found (cheap too) is make complete spacers out of luan which cost about 9 dollars a sheet and there is no need for nails, just clamps.

And I'm assuming you use copious layers of clear tape on the deck to keep everything from sticking to it. I use a single layer of packing tape works, works fine (also cheap)anything that doesn't stick to epoxy is also ok.
