Epoxy Precoat on Bulkhead

Hi,

I'm on my first boatbuilding project and build a passagemaker dingy.

Question - do I need to epoxy the bulkheads and seats as well ( like the bow's) bevore I fix them into the  boat or is the epoxy at the end sufficient ? I didn't got this out of the manual.

 Thanks André

RE: Epoxy Precoat on Bulkhead

I believe the epoxy at the end is sufficient, as long as you get it sealed properly.  Personally, I did the precoat and skipped the final because it was easier to do the epoxy coating before installation of the deck.
