Aspiring boatbuilders and wooden boat enthusiasts within a few hours' drive of Mystic, Connecticut, should join us for one of our favorite events of the year: The WoodenBoat Show. We will have most of the fleet---including some interesting new prototypes---on hand for you to inspect.

The WoodenBoat Show is at Mystic Seaport, an active living history museum consisting of a recreated village, ships and 17 acres of exhibits depicting coastal life in New England in the 19th century.

Nick Schade of Guillemot Kayaks will have a handsome and dramatic display of strip-planked kayaks at the show as well, including his Aleutesque, Mystery, and Petrel designs.

PocketShip will be at the show, in the water.  It's a rare chance for a close-up look at CLC's stitch-and-glue pocket cruiser, recently featured in WoodenBoat Magazine and Sailing Magazine.

We'll have a nice selection of boat plans, materials, and supplies at the show.   Stay tuned for a complete list of CLC boats that will be on hand.  

Ready for the best part of the show?  WE WILL BE GIVING AWAY A COMPLETE NORTHEASTER DORY KIT ON SUNDAY.  That's right, we're raffling off a Northeaster Dory (rowing kit), no obligations, no purchase necessary.  Just sign up for the raffle at our booth and we'll make the drawing around noon on Sunday.  If you win, you can either take the kit home with you from the show or pay the usual shipping and have it sent to your house.
